Chicken Vegetables Couscous


INGREDIENTS :


  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp smoked pàprikà
  • 3 tsp minced gàrlic
  • 1/4 tsp blàck pepper
  • 8 oz peàrled couscous
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sàlt
  • 2 cups Sprouts brànd frozen mixed vegetàbles, defrosted
  • 1 Sprouts Deli rotisserie chicken (2-3 cups), diced

INSTRUCTIONS :


  1. First, heàt the olive oil in à làrge skillet over medium heàt. àdd the minced gàrlic ànd couscous ànd sàuté until couscous is golden, àbout 5 minutes.
  2. Add the mixed vegetàbles, chicken broth, onion powder, smoked pàprikà, sàlt ànd pepper.
  3. Then, bring to à boil, then reduce to à simmer for 8-10 minutes, or until chicken broth is àbsorbed. àdd more chicken broth if necessàry.
  4. Meànwhile, remove the meàt from the rotisserie chicken ànd dice.
  5. Finàlly, when the couscous is done cooking, remove from heàt ànd fold in the chicken.
